Named after the owner, Tapper’s has been refurbished during lockdown with a fantastic outdoor cobbled area where you can enjoy the afternoon sun. With a well thought out wine list, it is definitely worth a visit. For a perfect cup of tea we stock Brew Tea Co and for coffee we use a local company which we are really proud of! We are busy every morning baking fresh bagels for our menu but be quick or book in advance as these tend to fly out!

Established in Spring 2010 this independent cafe bar is a firm favourite in the Southport dining scene. Local people, visitors and holiday makers enjoy the fantastic, locally-sourced fresh food, attention to detail and customer service which ensures that people make it a favourite destination.

At the junction of Union Street and Castle Street, Tapper’s Cafe Bar is open seven days Tuesday to Sunday - from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We also have a selection of delicious, home-baked cakes and picky bits throughout the day. A selection of our specially prepared products are also available for takeaway by collection.
